About company

The company was created on the 6th of May 1993. During 13 years the firm „Orvento Metal Trading Co” LTD turned, as a matter of fact, into holding, in action sphere of whith are included both the trade and service rendering, and also the production.

In 1998 the company „Orvento Metal Trading Co” LTD privatized Moldavian Pipe Works „Protos” JSC, where, during the short period of time, was restored the process of the production of water and gas pipes, electric-welding pipes, and straight-jointing pipes. At present moment the factory produces 18 different size types of pipes. All pipes are put to 100 % fault detection and hydro tests. A high pipe quality is reached by means of the adjusted technology and factory system of raw material entrance control, and also by a quality control of the issued production.

There were fulfilled investments in large denominations into the construction of a new production shop on the territory of the „Incomas” JSC, where is orgenized the production and repair of a non-standard industrial equipment, metal constructions of the industrial and civil destination.In Marth we are planing a new rolling mill, which will produse the pipes from Ф 6 till 40 mm.

The joint venture works with such a great enterprises as Business House „Zaporojstal”, „Metal combine, named after Petrovskii of Dniepropetrovsk”, „Azovstal”, „Iron and Steel works of Donetsk”, „Iron and Steel works of Alchev”, KGGMK „Krivorozstal”, „Iron and Steel works of Enakiev”, „Metal combine, named trade Ilych of Mariupol”.

At present, the trade structure of the company consists of: storehouse of a large wholesale (Storehouse №1, Chisinau city), storehouse of a small wholesale and retail trade (Storehouse №2, Chisinau city), North-Western branch (Falesti town), North-Eastern branch (Ribnita town), Southern branch (Ceadir-Lunga town), and also the developed dealer system. The selling and marketing Department carry out the general sale aministration. The metal-supply Department

of the company supports constantly the assortment, which consists of more than 500 positions and constant metal-rolling stocks in storehouses in the size of 4000 tones. The created trade structure and a precise cooperation of the selling and marketing Department with the metal-supply Department allow the company to trade in the system „Cash and Carry”, and, the most important thing, to carry out the most profitable today in the Republic metal-rolling delivery to order.

At the end of the 2004 „Orvento Metal Trading Co” LTD have got a new worldwide certificate of quality ISO 9001:2000. At the end of the 2005 confirmed this certificat.

This certificat give the possibility for using management of quality system in realization of system metal service in all Republic of Moldova and also in producing of water and gas pipes, electric-welding pipes, and straight-jointing pipes.

Our goal is the most complete satisfaction of suppliers requests with regard to the production quality and delivery terms, and the creation of the optimal metal supply system in the Republic.
